2025 Meeting Schedule-At-A-Glance

Thursday, March 13

Community Event: Local students are organizing several group outings including a beach clean and options for field trips for attendees on Thursday afternoon. These will likely be first come first serve. This is a great way to meet other members in the chapter in a laid-back and beautiful setting!

Poster Session: In the evening, we will have our poster session with a banquet style meal at the Cape Carteret Culinary Center in Morehead City, NC.

Friday, March 14

Plenary talk: Dr. Cisco Werner, Director of Scientific Programs and Chief Science Advisor of NOAA; Duke University Marine Laboratory, Beaufort, NC

Oral presentations: Duke University Marine Laboratory, Beaufort, NC

Student-mentor lunch: Please sign up to be a mentor for our traditional student-mentor lunch. We are working on options for lunch on site or at a local restaurant.

Banquet at the Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium: Our conference dinner will be set in front of the large Ocean exhibit at the NC Aquarium. We will have our raffle and announce Chapter awards.
